Anchor Hill Communications granted Additional Key Patent for Communications Technology March 17, 2015 The US Patent and Trademark Office has granted a second patent on Anchor Hill's unique technology for mobile wireless communications. U.S. Patent No. 8983010 covers various aspects of Anchor Hill's proven technology from a different perspective and scope of the invention described in Anchor Hill's Patent No. 8718203. Each patent describes innovations that enable the use of single-carrier communications in a mobile multi-path fading environment with performance nearing that of static coherent modulation techniques. This patented technology provides the ability to establish mobile links with the high reliability and power efficiency of a fixed link. Most modern systems rely on OFDM or similar waveforms which incur a higher cost in transmit power as well as spectral efficiency.
