Mobile Phase Recovering Equalizer

Anchor Hill's Mobile Phase Recovering Equalizer (MPRE) fills a significant technology gap for mobile single-carrier systems. High-rate signals can survive frequency-selective fading channels and high Doppler using the MPRE. This allows links for mobile applications to achieve more power efficiency, spectrum efficiency, and channel allocation efficiency than is possible with OFDM systems. Applications from pedestrian mobile in urban or indoor environments to UAVs to rocket telemetry can benefit from the range extension and improved reliability possible with MPRE technology.

This presentation provides an overview of the technology: MPRE Technology Overview

Anchor Hill provides a field-proven implementation of the MPRE for demodulator platforms using Xilinx FPGAs. Please take a look at our two-page Product Brief or detailed Product Description linked below for more information.

MPRE Product Description (9 pages) (pdf)

The MPRE can be adapted or extended for custom applications. Anchor Hill has an extensive library of additional useful modules including a Frequency-Locked-Loop and AGC that integrate seamlessly with the MPRE.
