LMS Adaptive Channel Equalizer

Anchor Hill's LMS Adaptive Channel Equalizer (LMSEQ) provides a 17-tap Least Mean Squares (LMS) signed-error adaptive Channel Equalizer in a single module. The core provides automatic adaptive equalization of channel distortion and multipath effects for single-carrier communication systems. The fully automatic equalizer includes adjustable adaptation rate, coefficient hold and reset functions, and coefficient readout capability. Applications with challenging channel environments including multipath reflections, cable tilt, filter distortion, or other common impairments benefit greatly from the adaptive equalization capability provided by the LMSEQ.

Anchor Hill provides a field-proven implementation of the LMSEQ for demodulator platforms using Xilinx FPGAs. Please take a look at our two-page Product Brief or detailed Product Description linked below for more information.
